2. a) Grant Notification - Declines and Approvals
Declined Proposals
- Funder or project notifies Project Specialist or Project Coordinator that a proposal has been declined.
- Coordinator/Specialist confirms that all required recipients have received the decline notification letter or email i.e. Project Specialist, Project Coordinator, Project Director, depending on who received the notification and how it was received.
- Update Salesforce
Awarded Proposals
- Funder or project notifies Project Specialist or Project Coordinator that a proposal has been successful.
- The Coordinator/Specialist confirms that all required recipients have received the award notification letter or email i.e. Project Specialist, Project Coordinator, project director depending on who received the notification and how it was received.
- If there is a grant agreement, the Project Specialist reviews and highlights key clauses for the Project Director, Finance Lead, and the Project Coordinator. Please refer to the Grant Agreement Letter article for further details.
- Project Coordinator arranges for signature, either original or DocuSign
- Provide details to the signatory using the Grant Agreement Summary Template
- Update Salesforce following the steps in this article
