Vancouver Office COVID-19 Safety Plan
MakeWay's current COVID-19 safety plan for the Vancouver office can be found here.
Note: The safety plan refers to ‘liaisons’ rather than specific names. Danae and Natalie are the office liaisons at this time.
- All staff are asked to work from home unless required for job duties or their wellbeing.
- Wellbeing may include respite from extreme weather, insufficient space or internet speed at home, mental wellness, etc.
- Staff do not need to explain or justify coming in for wellbeing reasons.
- The vaccine disclosure policy remains in effect.
- Masks are optional as long as a two (2) meter distance can be maintained.
- If staff go to the office, they should:
- Notify their supervisor
- Enter the date in the Vancouver Staff in Office calendar in Outlook
- Connect with Danae or Natalie for an orientation to the safety measures in place
- Occupancy limits are in place and are as follows:
- 16 in the office
- 1 in each washroom, Dragonfly, and the kitchen
- 4 in Earthrise
- Third party guests should be kept to a minimum.
- Meetings should be virtual when possible; however, staff may meet with third parties in the office if needed, subject to occupancy limits above.
- Service providers (e.g. building maintenance) should be scheduled at quitter times, if possible.
- Visitors are not permitted.
- Meeting rooms are not available to book for groups other than MakeWay Foundation staff.
