The chart of accounts has been adapted from NAV with minimal changes:

• Account numbering has increased from 4-digits to 5-digits
• Bank-type accounts cannot be shared between subsidiaries – so we created a The Foundation/The Society version of each account, such as “Petty Cash”
• Contractors: Rather than using Contractor A-F, we will be using ‘Contractor – Fees’ and ‘Contractor – Expenses’
• Consultants: Rather than using Contractor 1-12, we will be using ‘Consultant – Fees’ and ‘Consultant – Expenses’

The Legacy G/L Account number can be found on the Account record in NetSuite, and a Saved Search has been created to allow users to easily look-up the new 5-digit account code based on the NAV code: TC Legacy GL Account Search
