Creating A Grant Report Object

Not all grants require reporting. If one does, create a Grant Report object in Salesforce.

All NQD grants require reporting. Some require Interim reports if they are paid in multiple installments; all require a final report.

  1. While on the Grant Object you created, click on the Related tab.
  2. Scroll down to Grant Reports and click New.
  1. A new pop-up window called New Grant Report will open. Complete as follows:
  1. Grant Report Name: The naming protocol is [Grant #] [“Grant Report” or “Interim Grant Report” or “Final Report”] Example: GF01234 Final Grant Report
  2. Dependent Distribution: If the grant has multiple payments and a payment is dependent upon receipt and approval of the report, enter the Distribution Number of the payment that depends on the receipt of this report (see Multiple Distributions).
  3. Grant Coordinator: Your name here!
  4. Date Due: Enter the due date.
  1. Click Save or Save & New if this grant requires multiple reports (e.g., an interim and a final report).
