  1. Newsletter goes out bi-monthly approximately the middle of the month.
  2. Keep potential newsletter content in an email or Box folder
  3. Send an email to Stacey, Lizzie, and Irene requesting content by X date
  4. In MailChimp (login in funder login Smartsheet), go to Campaigns.
    1. Replicate the previous month's newsletter
    2. Change the Subject to reflect the correct month
    3. Click on Edit Design
    4. Follow the general structure of the template:
      • Write a short intro blurb or ask Allie to do it :)
      • Lizzie will provide content for the first main section
      • Gather project news stories from project specialists through Teams/email and the "Stories from MakeWay" email sent out by Comms
      • Gather grant opportunities from Grant Connect's Funder Alert, Grant Station, plus other sources. Make sure to link directly to the funder website and be sure there are no restrictions on the grants.
      • Gather Job Postings from the MakeWay website
      • For Read, Listen, Immerse, include events, podcasts, articles, etc. Be sure to include JEDI content.
    5. To change the header, use the Creative Assistant. Update the subheading to the current month. Upload a seasonally appropriate image using stock images using Unsplash, Pexels, or a similar site.  
    6. Once you're ready to preview the content, click on Preview > send a test email. Note that the test might end up in quarantine.
    7.
