Mystery Revenue

Follow these steps for any unknown funds that land in the Society revenue folder.

Step 1:  

  • Discuss any mystery revenue items during Monday Coordinator Check-ins and/or
  • Flag mystery revenue in Mystery Revenue Teams channel  

Step 2:  

Uncertain about Payor: (e.g., they’ve used an abbreviation or acronym) 

  • Senior Coordinator to send Andrea an email asking for more information. Andrea to contact bank.  

Payor is known but uncertain about Project: 

  • Senior Coordinator or Manager to ask Andrea if there was any accompanying information that wasn’t uploaded and let her know that you’ll be reaching out if not.  
  • Senior Coordinator or Manager to reach out to project specialists and finance leads if we don’t hear back from payor 
  • Senior Coordinator (or other person as decided) to email the payor using contact information from Salesforce or by Googling 

Project is known but uncertainty about revenue type, code, etc.: 

  • Assigned coordinator contact project specialist and finance lead to confirm  
  • Assigned coordinator to follow up if no response received within one week
