Edit a Fund's Acknowledgment Purpose

The Acknowledgment Purpose and Acknowledgment Purpose Cont are merge field that pull in to thank you letter template.

  1. Search the Parent Fund you want to update
  2. Update the merge fields
  1. Click Save. Any new Payment records you created under the fund and its child funds will use the updated fields. However,non-paid existing payment records won’t have the fields automatically updated. You will need to use this report to find any non-paid payments of the fund and update the fields.
  1. Go to Receipt Settings to make sure they will grammatically fit into the template.
