Generating a receipt

The Tides receipting will be set up to generate receipts on automatically a nightly basis for records that have been approved.   The receipt will also be emailed to the contact if the email contact field on the receiptable record is checked.   If the email receipt checkbox is not checked then the receipt will be ready to be printed and put into paper mail.

Manually Generating a Receipt

Should Tides want to manually generate a receipt prior to the scheduled job this can be done from the record list view or an individual record.

  1. From the list view select the "Receipts approved pending Generation"
  2. Select the record you want to generate the receipt for.
  3. Click "Generate Receipts"

From the individual record:

  1. Verify that the record has been Approved  - See "Ready to be Approved" has a status of Approved.
  2. Verify that the Ready to Print field = Yes.
  3. Click the "Generate New Receipt" button.  This will generate the receipt and if the "Email Receipt" check box is checked the receipt will also be emailed directly to the contact.
